Niagara Falls

It’s touristy and Grace didn’t like her hot dog and Whit got a blister from walking, but oh, the falls are majestic. Their power, noise, and beauty are frankly as awe-inspiring as I had imagined.   Plus Grace and Whit got a third stamp in their passports, which was a thrill.  This summer is flying by, a fact made more bitter by how sweet the days are.

  1. These look like absolutely magical moments. It’s great that you’re taking care to preserve these moments and let the serenity of them sink in. The passing of time is sometimes the hardest when we’re enjoying it.

  2. We visited Niagara Falls two summers ago and it was amazing. I agree, the summer is flying by and it literally hurts my heart. We have only one more small getaway planned and then it’s back to school on July 8th! I desperately wish there was a pause button.

  3. Ah, The Maid of the Mist – I remember it well! This brings back fond memories of our family trip to Niagara Falls many years ago. We also loved visiting the Butterfly House and Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Your darlings are so fortunate to have three stamps on their passports. How exciting for them! xoxo

  4. I am so glad you are having fun!! Today it struck me that the moments might just be precious because we say they are – that in the noticing is the magic. Thank you for always showing me this!
