That’s just the kind of mother I am!

Hils and I are gathering photographs for a slideshow at Mum’s party, and it is so much fun to unearth treasures like this one above. I feel quite blessed to have phenomenal women like these two on either side of me, generationally!

It is a glorious day here, with a feel of fall in the air. Am on errand brigade then with the children this afternoon and evening. Jam-packed weekend including Nella’s wedding which will have nice reunions with many old friends that we grew up with. Looking forward to seeing Hilary and Hannah as well!

Whit at the zoo today. It was a zoo at the zoo – we had Elizabeth Wood with James and Benjamin, Brooke Laughlin with Will, Whitney Sowles with Eiley, Laryn Gardner with Anna, Steph Harvey with Read and Jemma, and Kate Gilbane with Chandler. Grace and Whit had a blast, and everybody fell asleep upon return home.

On the subject of sleep and exhaustion. This morning at Starbucks the guy in front of me ordered a grande dark roast with two shots of expresso in it. I’ve decided that I’m doing fine as long as I am just drinking lattes and diet cokes!
