Grace brought home a CD of photos that she had taken in Photography at camp (aside: we did not have Photography back in my day, nor did we have cooking or zumba!). All three of those photos caused me to gasp, because they’re all things I photograph almost obsessively (the sky, my shadow, and hydrangeas). Again: identification, dizzying vertigo, intense love.

Isn’t is scary when you truly see yourself in them?
When I first saw the pictures, I assumed that you had taken them, even that the figure in shadow was you. I gasped as you did when I realized they were Grace’s. xo
Oh wow! How wonderful… Both the pictures and the fact that they do all those things at camp now. Although I can’t help picturing people doing Zumbah in the pavilion. It makes me giggle 🙂
