Today is a poem
a pile-up of moments
unspooling words
like urgent
whispers
there is a secret
and you are in on it
be still
for a short time
your life is waiting
for you to notice it
before
it will bloom.

I found this gorgeous poem on the beautiful site Bentlily, which shares a poem a day. I highly recommend it.
I saw that site too, and thought it lovely.
Why is it that it takes so much more effort and intention for me to read (short) poems than longer prose?
Love this, and Bentlily – so happy to have poetry back in my life. Isn’t it funny, how we lose touch with things we loved early in our lives, then find them again. Wonderful.
Thank you! XOXO
I love it when we flourish … the Arete way is when our life is like a garden in full bloom on a Summer’s day.
wow, this is lovely.

Thanks so much for sharing bentlily with your readers on your beautiful blog. Amber is an absolutely talented poet (http://bentlily.com/guest/amber-strocel/), but the one you’ve posted here is mine. Either way, delighted to see the poem here!
