snowy dinner

Friday was a much-anticipated blizzard. It was really snowing hard. Nevertheless, Ank, Margo, Bouff, Kara and I proceeded with our dinner plans, all arriving at Silvertone by various T lines.
It was so lovely to see everyone and I find myself wondering why we don’t do it more often. These women are not just smart and educated (2 MDs, 1 PhD, 2 JDs, 1 masters degree among them) but also funny, down-to-earth, and warm. We have the kind of rich history that lets us jump into conversation midstream, the kind of long backlog that allows arcane references to be immediately understood by all. Who else knows what TDF, a DTR, and a T and a P mean?

Loved seeing you all, and here’s to a 2009 with more frequent visits.
