I love that book – It’s strange that it meant me so deeply this year, but it did. I read it over and over. Cover to cover. It was his heart – and the great depth of kindness. It made me cry. I will write about in my blog. I think what’s strange to me – is that I was just saying to myself, is there anyone else who loves this book like I do?
You know that line in The Fault in our Stars when Hazel says there are some books that you read and everyone in the world has to read it. And there are other books when they’re so private and so meaningful, you say very little about them…? That’s how Gilead is to me.
I love you, Lindsay.
Just wanted to stop by and say Happy New Year, but realized I also wanted to say I cherish you and your beautiful heart. Keep writing for me, k?
in fact I cherish you so much I spelled your name wrong. How about that. xox
This makes me grin, big. Thank you. xoxoxo
This book is beloved by several friends. On my pile, hope to get to it soon. So many books, so little time . . .
Yes yes yes.
