I have always particularly loved the lines of our tennis club. I think the curves are very Olmstead-ish and I find the building elegant and evocative. Fun fact: Art history, including architecture, was one of my very favorite subjects in college. In fact I seriously considered writing my thesis jointly on a poet (hd) and a painter (Georgia O’Keeffe).

Olmstead. A name Northeasterners (in particular?) are familiar with, whether we’re into landscape architecture or not.
Poetry and the poetry of architecture. It seems logical.
🙂
Embarassing! I meant HH Richardson. Thank you for drawing my attention to that! xox
